Length:
91 minutes

Director:

On the day of their wedding, Wahtawah, the bride of the courageous Chingachgook, the last of the Mohicans, is abducted by members of the Huron tribe. Big Snake and his friend Deer Slayer leave in order to free the abducted bride. On their way they hear about new conflicts between the white men, and that the English are trying to take advantage of the fighting between the two Indian tribes, the Delawares and the Hurons in order to assure their own victory.

At Lake Otsega Big Snake and Deer Slayer meet the white hunter Tom Hutter who has been living there since the beginning of time with his daughter and wants nothing but to live in peace. But now the trapper Harry Hurry persuades him to murder, because the British and French are paying good money for every scalp of an Indian. Encouraged by the premiums on Indian scalps, British soldiers march on the camp of the Hurons, however, the Indians fight together and repulse the attack. Finally, Wahtawah is freed and can marry Chingachgook.
